We researched building mobile applications since 4 years ago, e-commerce website has also been in operation for a while. However, in the first 3.5 years of returning to the domestic market, we suffered heavy losses, losing VND 40-50 billion. Since September 2019, I have fired the CEO and run by myself. In the first half of this year, the company continuously launched new products and was just starting to turn a profit. Now that I launch the purchase application, I aim to have 10,000 downloads by the end of the year, next year e-commerce will account for 60-70% of the sales of consumer companies. In fact, 10 days before officially publicizing, the application brought in VND 500 million in revenue, beyond our imagination. - After such initial results, what do you expect from this business? - I want to turn Phuc Sinh into a giant supermarket. 5-10 years from now, anyone who wants to buy anything can enter Phuc Sinh. In the future we will also sell fashion goods and machinery. This is a way for all people to benefit from the flat world, from free trade agreements. At that time, we will be the bridge connecting the Vietnamese and international markets. Foreign businesses that want to buy Vietnamese products will come to Phuc Sinh to easily handle delivery and payment problems. As for the Vietnamese farmers and companies that sell to Phuc Sinh, they will not need to worry about output or price, and will be financed with money and expertise. In the immediate future, many of my friends and partners have expressed their desire to cooperate to sell on the application. - This seems to be a big ambition for a new business entering retail only 4 years? - I don't think so. We are used to exporting, so it is easier to return to the domestic market, because we already have international standard certificates, and the relationship with foreign partners is also good. But most importantly, I think as long as we work hard, be creative and keep the credibility, it's okay, but the trust is the life and death I have to carry. With good credit, even a small company can get a bank loan with low interest rate, a small-scale retailer can still work with many suppliers and customers. Phuc Sinh has been a reputable company since its early days. Thanks to that, I can buy goods to export to other countries with only 60 million VND of initial meager capital. Customers agree to pay in advance, even guarantee with the bank for me to borrow money, find the source of goods. Banks also believe to reduce loan interest rates for the past 19 years. I am confident that Phuc Sinh is one of the businesses with the lowest interest rates in the market today. Trusting me, many customers also ask me to buy many other items in many parts of the world. People may not believe it, but Phuc Sinh is currently one of the businesses that sell the most African chili peppers, even though I have never been there.
